Greetings people, I’m Jenna G welcome to myspace, kick off ya shoes, grab a drink and take a moment to wander through my world. Im a performer at heart, lover of the arts and an active member of the ‘Life is what you make it’ brigade. Don’t get it twisted im not a brown rice, unwashed, pill head but I can certainly sympathise!

Day to day im doing a whole host of things like writing sessions at home or in studios around London or Manchester my home town, weekend mornings I can be found between the hours of 9am – 12noon GMT on BBC’s 1Xtra bringing you the best in new black music (it’s a tag line, lets not pick hairs now), other than that I have been known to grace a few film sets and TV shoots however that is for you to find and amuse yourselves with…

Right now im working with The Shapeshifters on their new album Do Not Disturb, due for release in 2008, the collaboration came about after writing half the songs for their last album Sound Advice. Its fun as im now a fully fledged member, our first two singles Pusher and New Day are out now available at all major record shops and online at Itunes. Other than music I love a good bar tender, tiffany engagement rings, writing songs, warm climates, big smiles, surprises, good peoples, innovaters, bargins, brand new stationary, fly trainers (and the boys who wear them), music, dancing, watchin people fall down and the art of love.

Most of all I love to party, I do it internationally nowadays when I can get the time off thanks to features and releases in drum and bass which is what I love as raver first and foremost but im involved with and in awe of all styles of musical styles and cultures, I like a smorgesboard of sound .

In 2006/7 i was lucky enough to be able to perform in Brazil, Japan, Singapore, Bangkok, Germany, Switzerland, LA and Sardinia with a host of amazing DJ’s, performers and alongside my own band touring my first solo album For Lost Friends. Over the years I’ve grabbed a mic all over the globe. Shouts to Paris, Vienna, New York, Eindhoven, Kuala Lumpur, Berlin, Cape Town, Dublin, Madrid, Porto, Belguim (I was drunk dont remember the town!!), St Petersburg, Graz, Bahrain, Amsterdam, Sardinia, and not forgetting the whole of tha UK!! Currently touring with my soul brother DJ Kabuki across europe, for a video sample of how we do it live, check out the Sounds Like section on the left of the page.

Im on here to spread love through my words and music, I know you feel me it’s a spread love kind of thing but lets do it safely, no time wasters but its not all strictly business. Happy to hear from anyone, looking for film makers, photographers, designers, fashionistas, fly boys, suicide girls, artists, creatives, muses and more! Lets make this world a smaller place!
